Pay?
How much does dollar tree pay a hour?

It depends on your experience and skills...and how much you made at your last job.

Generally minimum wage or slightly above. Expect (as with most retail) to do a lot more work than what you are being paid for.

Dollar Tree Job pays like around 8 threw 9 dollars per hour

8.05 an hour

Around $8-$9 an hour when I asked an employee recently. Not a living wage.

Hi Whitney: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! It depends on where you live and what position you're applying for. I found this article to help you get a better sense of what you can expect in terms of pay: http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Employer=Dollar_Tree_Stores_Inc/Hourly_Rate Hope this helps!

My Granddaughter worked there. I thought they were totally unfair to their employees. One they expected you to be available any shift yet they only gave you 10 to 15 hours a week. Sometimes they would call her in for only an hour to do stock work. Didn't even give you 2 hour show up time. They started her out at minimum wage no benefits and once she got to be full time she only made 9.50 and hour yet they expected her to have a car so she could make the deposits at the bank and get change. She was Assistant Manager basically she was being used they and being put in danger. They should have had an armored truck come and make deposits. She got some good work experience but believe you me you don't work there for pay. In fact some days it cost her more to get there than she made especially when they called her in for just one hour. So if you are looking for something to do or need to get some work experience so you can find a better job. Dollar Tree is the place to be but you sure can not support yourself on what you make there.
