I have been a hiring manager for several of my positions, so I teach interviewing skills, but Honestly I have never hired someone because they sent me a thank you note..this may work for an hourly position, but as many managers will tell you we make our decision in that interview if we are gonna move you forward to the next round or not, what is important is knowing how to ask where you stand with the other candidates. That is "while I understand there are other candidates you are speaking with, if you could hire me right now, what would hold you back?" Hiring managers are not use to getting that question so you may actually get an HONEST answer or a Buy signal..it is all about marketing yourself

Yes I did, and got the job.
I did that after a job interview,I thought it was a lock-in,I never got a call ,People tell you how to lock a job in,I even paid someone to make my resume'e better that did not help.So I dont know how to get a better job that pays better,The only thing I can see is that if they can hire someone with less pay they will,Some employers feel has long as they have a body to cover the position they dont care how responsible you are or the experience,Then there are some that want college degrees or bachleors degrees for a entry level.I dont unstand
