I applied for a certain Job in a Particular store. A different store called me in for the interview. Let me back up to:

1. On my way to the interview the district training manager called to ask if I was still interested in working for the company. When I said I was on my way there now: He said "Great I will be the one training you." And then... "Have a great day buddy!"
2. I was very impressed with how sharp and briliant the manager was and she clearly appreciated my background and experience. We were even discussing effective ways to train and in some cases remedially train the other workers to help improve their customer service skills and thus increase the bottom line. Did I mention its a Retail Store?
3. they still have to finish the background check.
4. Another manager called me from another store to schedule my follow up interview before I even got home! Now here's the thing! The store is not the one I applied for. The Job is not the one I applied for. But, when I went to the interview; I went with an open mind and the willingness to be flexible. I may have to start in one place to grow and become the one they want in the other place. When I say "place"; I dont mean different stores. I do mean positioning myself for opportunities down the road. I'm just saying keep an open mind and opportunities will present themselves!!!
