Title confusion
I was recently transferred to a different division of a company I have worked with for approximately 3 years. Logistically, this was a beneficial move because It's a much shorter commute. The new role also offers more challenges/opportunities to allow me xontinued learning and experience.
The problem is, when I was transferred, I was not given a new title, a pay increase, or even a set of documented job responsibilities. I insisted on all of these before I moved but was, literally, ignored and avoided by tge Regional Manager. Consequently, I am now being overwhelmed with new projects as well as being pulled in 10 different directions.
How do I pin down the things I asked for before the transfer?

Chris, this a little tougher, as you didn't put your foot down. You were not promoted, you accepted a lateral transfer. When you didn't stand up for any of your demands before accepting the transfer you set a past practice scenario. Now it appears you want to re-negotiate, you want a do over. When you didn't stand up for yourself, why would the company re-negotiate, they have more work being done by less people? At some point you may need to draw a line in the sand, and say enough is enough. I would document the additional responsibilities you have experienced, and try to appeal to their kinder side, but be prepared if they say no. By nature, people are happy to please, and many times they don't ask enough questions, or get commitments, or verify each parties understanding. If you had said "I am not going anywhere until we discuss what I have asked for", the ball would have been in your employer's court, as they wanted the transfer to happen. By transferring first you removed your leverage. Good Luck...
