Where can I find an affordable adult Auto Technician training program?

I don’t have any experience in this area but I’d like to pursue an auto repair career if I can find a program tailored for working adults like the one in this article (http://www.wnc.edu/news/2016-01-20b.php). Attending school F/T is not an option for me but I’m still very interested in finding a way to learn new skills and eventually land a better job to support my family.

Eric, you don't need education to start an auto technician career. If you are motivated and good with your hands you can start working in ‘quick lube’ service station, get some experience, on the job training and move from there.

While, I was researching what is available in your area. I notice that Asnuntuck community college near you have interesting evening and weekend manufacturing programs with 90% hiring rate. Here is a link with more info. http://www.acc.commnet.edu/courses-programs/manufacturing-technology-programs
