I guess it's really who you know
I have worked for this district for over four years now. I have started on my Master's degree to get a better position in the district. I have submitted an application for every position in this district that I am qualified for from the food service positions to the dean. I decided after never receiving a call to contact the temporary Superintendent to show how passionate I am about working with children she emailed me back the same day and asked what positions I had applied for. I sent her a list of every applied position this was over two months ago. I have emailed just to express me wanting to remain in the district and me returning to school. I have yet to receive a response. What do you all think?

After being there for 4 years, you must know someone there who can speak for you and give recommendations for the position you are applying for. Or maybe get recommendation letter and attach to application....don't give up if you really want it.

You need to know one man, trust, him, have faith. He regulates the man of all man kind. Give to him leave it alone. If you have a job be happy. Your advancement will come when you least expect it. Be Blessed.

She had fake care

Thank you all for the comments. I only wonder why the jobs are on the job board and no one is calling, even for a person within already. I have even email principals and the Superintendent. I won't give up it's my passion student family and community engagement.

you are low priority

unfortunately, in some school districts, it is who you know. Try to find other districts or even private schools you could work for. A smaller district might even be a better fit. they might have more opportunity. Good luck!

People are busy but you have been proactive it is time to move forward. You are still employed there but it seems that they don't feel that they are interested in you at this time. Continue to move forward. Use this as a learning experience.

Just curious, have you applied for any online school jobs? I've seen listings, maybe it's worth a try. Good luck to you.
Here's what you did wrong, you went to the "temporary" superintendent of which does not get you anywhere just that, temporary. Take it to a higher source. However I sense some red flags there so why not take all those credentials to another district or other companies, agencies. Life is short don't underestimate it . After a while it gets stale so read the fine print and start looking elsewhere quietly. You can only depend on how you want your life to be, the sky is NOTthe limit. You are an intelligent being, get with the program.
