Starting Over Careers
I am currently unemployed and I am starting a new career at 37. I have a lot of experience and am looking for something that will allow me to pay the bills while I am working on my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a double cognate of Finance and Financial Planning. I have recently applied for several jobs but not getting any call backs or anything. I am worried that they look at my past work history and summary and are like why would we hire this person he is way over qualified. I know that the last 10 years of employment is totally different from what I am looking for now. I need some advise to so I can figure out what I am doing wrong with my applications and resumes.

Just one suggestion: Have you called the HR Department back concerning the position. Remember you probably were not the only person who applied. And it's easier to call those who calls you, they are really interested and wanting to be employed, hum. Let me check out his application again. Like wanting to buy a different car. Oh, experience is wonderful but that is just part can you fulfill and complete more?
