I was in a semi-independent group home. Because they like me, they kept me around as long as they could. Guess the reason I got kicked out. I was going to collage for fire science but long story short, I would've had to pay out of pocket even though I thought FAFSA covered everything. The requirements to stay in voluntary foster care after your 18th birthday are you have to be in school, but if you are working you get more time. I have a place to stay but I'm not on the lease and we are to poor to afford it. I just wish that there will be a job that won't give me the run-around when I check up on it. I should've and could've got voc-rehab, but I was just so confidant. I wanted to be able to say I could do it on my own. I have no job experience.
