Is Dollar Tree and Dollar General part of the same company?
I have both stores in my hometown and both are hiring right now but I don’t want to duplicate efforts if their the same company. I’m looking for a F/T retail position with at least 40 hrs and benefits. I think one may have bought out the other so but I’m not sure

Unless your Appling for S.M /A.S.M position you will only be P.t associate. You won't get close to 40 hrs a week. I've worked for one of the company's for 8 yrs and currently employed by the other, so hopefully I've been helpful with your question

Yes, Dollar General is a separate company from Dollar Tree. They are hiring, but I need more stable hours than what they give. I think their hours vary.
