Mobile phone is off, been targeted by an IRS scammer..

I've been fired from a long time job, due to the Manager at that job started a purge. Got targeted and scammed by an IRS scammer. Reported to the Justice Department. Had paid mobile phone bills till recently. I've been looking for work, with very limited amount of calls for interviews. Only other option is to try a job at the local fast food place. Will need to pay bill, plus the extra $35. to restart it or something. Should I try the local McDonalds?

Alice,

My suggestion would be to apply anywhere you possibly can, and network yourself to gain new employment. You can search for positions via www.indeed.com or even check out the positions listed via Jobcase if you search by the company's name or look up positions via www.craigslist.org for jobs in your location.

As for the phone billing issue(s), I would suggest that for now, if possible acquire a prepaid card to use for work related calls and/or provide a secondary phone such as a friend or relative where calls/messages can be forwarded to ensure you don't miss any potential employment opportunities. Good luck!
