I was fired from my job because a nurse lied an said I left the floor without permission, and she cot her friends to back her up. I got my last write up which meant termination.Almost all the complaints were made up because all the CNAs thought a man did not belong in this type of job. I have been a CMA almost 14 years and have NEVER left the floor without permission. I believe a patient should be taken care of as soon as they have a problem, not when the nurse is finished on the computer or texting a friend.
