I'm 54 have 35 years experience..done everything there is to do in restaurants except own one.i work at a please 8 months never late did my job. Management never talked to me about performance nothing. Now the business was losing money hand over fist.one day the manager on duty took me to the office.told me I must check with him before I go home.keep in mind I was the only one..so I did... 2 weeks later I was fired.for reasons unknown by person who fired me.my question is this legal. I've checked labor laws and anyone over 40 the fire at will gets alot tuffer. Mean time no one will hire me.so what gives? 35 years? Or is this age discrimination?
