INTERVIEWS, JOB OPPORTUNITIES, OFFER LETTERS, I'M HIRED!

FOUR (4) MOST COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE, PERTAINING TO INTERVIEW APPOINTMENTS!

THIS DOESN'T APPLY TO YOU, DOES IT?

#1. Arriving to their appointment late: (Murphy's Law. Things can happened.) #2. Getting caught in traffic jams: (Traveling during rush hour.) #3. Guessing where the place is: (We have a good idea where the place is. However, construction sites can divert traffic. #4. Inclement weather can be a factor: We forget to check the weather forecast. A rainy day can change the dynamics on the road.)

This hasn't happened to you...Has it?

Your first impression is the lasting impression. I pride myself on being 15 minutes early to any interview. What most people don't understand is the person at the front desk may have the upper hand because the interviewer interacts with that person whom is the information about your initial presentation, timing and demeanor they see FIRST....which can be the deciding factor on whether or you get that job. It doesn't always matter how good the interview went, if that desk personnel indicates that you were 5 minutes or 12 minutes late you just might be overlooked due to some business refuse to believe that you would show up to work on time based upon the lateness to an interview. Keep that in mind!

Nope, I have been in the workforce for so many years, they are automatic for me to prepare ahead, checking the weather, ensuring the address is in my GPS, giving myself enough time to leave out, meaning leave early.

Does anyone know Ebony? I would like to send her a job that I think that would be perfect for her since she is a young mother of 4 children and having financial difficulties. Since it is work from home it would be perfect for her.
