I have been applying for different part-time positions, and I only had one possible interview, which turned out to be far away, where I live. S, I am not giving up. I have a phrase my dad before he passed away in 2004 gave me; "ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVE AND ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE". Gayle Myers

Gayle that's a great adage. I would listen to the advice given. Keep trying, out in more applications. You can never have to many. You also get to chose. Study up on the companies you apply for. When you go for the interview your knowing a little about them helps a lot. Always wear a smile .
