Resume writing tips!
Happy Monday Jobcasers! I'm confident you all have excellent resumes, but I thought I would share a few tips on how to make it stand out and help you get the job you really want. It's a competitive world out there and we all always need to make sure we're putting the best representation of ourselves into our resumes. Here are a few I always find to really make a difference:
- Put the most important information at the beginning - You want to catch the eye of the person reviewing it immediately so make sure you're really highlighting yourself and your goals in the objective!
- Use bullet points - I always find that it's much easier to read bulleted points than a full paragraph. Everyone's time is so precious these days, you want to make sure you're making your resume as easy and efficient to read as possible.
- Fonts - Make sure your resume is done in one font, and maintains consistency throughout. You can definitely bold or underline the things that are most important and that you want to highlight, but make sure to keep it all in one font!
- Spell Check - Sometimes we get too caught up in trying to rush to get everything done in the day, but never forget to run through spell check, and re-read to make sure there are no errors
- Tailor the resume to the job - i know it can get a bit tedious to create multiple versions of resumes, but you can change the objective to make sure it reflects the industry you are applying into, and the role itself. I hope this is helpful, and best of luck!

Thanks so kindly. Very helpful information.
