Where do I list awards and special recognitions on my resume?

I’ve received awards from previous jobs that I want to add to my resume but not sure where to add that info.

You can add them as accomplishments, right after your education.

I would either lnclude it in your cover letter or in a brief description regarding your qualifications/your strong points!

The "other" section of the resume is appropriate to list awards and recognition received during job assignments. Listing them under the job in the resume will have the recognition appear it was related only to that specific job. "Attaboy" recognition is applicable to any job as it is recognition from management for "a job well done" and not necessary technical prowess.

I was going to suggest to check different templates of Resumes on Microsoft, that will tell you in what sections can you added or if you should initiate a new one for that purpose. Mr. Fred blogger suggests to incorporate this information in MYINFO section , I imagine, refers to this site where you build your profile, but you should make it nevertheless permanent part of your resume. Happy New Year! and congratulations in all your achievements, make sure you post each and everyone of them.

Congrats on the cool background and success. You have 3 options - all work in building your profile in our MYINFO section - which then can be used to generate you resume on-demand wherever you are (so long as you have your phone with you!). If the awards are related to a specific job - go ahead and put them under the details of that job. If not, put them in the "other" section and describe them with one sentence or so for each one. If you have a link online to a place they are cited - feel free to add the link in the "links' section.
Hoel this helps - I see your profile is unfinished - I'll look forward to seeing it updated when you get a chance! (and thanks for being part of the community!) Fred
