The warehouse where I work is full of men. This is my second warehouse job and I’m already running into the same problems I had at my previous job. I feel like a Gazelle surrounded by hungry Lions every day I go into work. Nobody ever thinks they're being too fresh or offensive but I don’t want to be asked out on dates or constantly be told that I “look fine today”. All I want is work my hours so I can get paid and take care of my kids in peace. I’m going to school for a degree so I can get out of this business for good, but for now, this is all that I have. Does anyone have any experience with this?

As a woman in this kind of field of work who has worked in warehouse for many years packing and all over place and even in the field you have to make it very known that you are just like them you are there to work to make money you will be respected as a co-worker and nothing else and if they will not you will report them to your bosses for sexual harassment you will be respected do not entertain any flirting or any chatting abide by the law of sexual harassment

this is old school, what u just made here / comments cut it paste it or whatever ..n take it to HR that should take care it, now if nothing is done n still getting these comments + asking u out for a date ..? well.. the next meeting with HR is with a lawyer :)

I worked in a warehouse and the only women were in the office. There were a lot of off color comments behind their backs, but the general manager made sure there was no harrasment or remarks made to the women that would make them feel uncomfortable. Like anything else leadership is very important.

Hay diversity, It's Shugga here and you've said a mouthful. The work place environment here in georgia is a true seen from the twilight zone!!! I've worked at four different locations in three years and I've experienced the same behavior at all 4. I understand that there is a shortage of real women left in the world but men hv put a new definition on the word thirsty!!! Listen sweatheart...it doesn't matter what the reason or excuss is that men choose to interact with females the way they do just remember that we r living in times where it is acceptable to stand your ground. Read between the lines, and if all that fails remember SEXUAL HARASSMENT!!!$$$

It's a blue collar environment, not very intelligent mentality. Not all men are so foolish and disrespectful of women and coworkers.
Olga, IMHO, the best thing to do in your situation would be finding another friendlier workplace place and go there without long thinking. Staying longer (more than one week) in a hostile work environment would be harmful.
I've seen a statistics that 80% of those who quits do it due to their hostile work environment.
