Felt good to work here
I love working for companies that actually do something for others. I used to work for Goodwill and it was nice knowing that the donated items we collected were used to help people and MANY needed that help.

I liked working for Goodwill Job Connection. However, they pushed us harder and harder to "make the numbers." It didn't matter if you had to lie, cheat, or steal. You did what it took to make the deal. I got very ill from the stress. Think about it. Everything is donated. The CEO is a millionaire, and they use our donations to keep building "super stores." They are not a non-profit. They are the Walmart of the so-called "nonprofits." I don't even donate to them or shop there now. St. Vincent de Paul, the Humane Society Thrift store, the Opportunity Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity are all worthy charities.
