Happy Labor Day Weekend! As we continue through this Labor Day Weekend I would like to share some personal thoughts with the community. Today, I am reflecting on a subject not many talk about often. Today I would like to share a personal story of Life as a Single Dad. I am a single dad with two girls ages 8 and 11. Due to a divorce I was given custody of my two girls. A challenge I never could imagine at the time. Life as I knew it was turned upside down and a whole new beginning started. Trying to be a great role model as I can is a challenge in itself. Keeping in mind the daily struggles one faces and the challenges each day. A task we are all to formulated with I am sure? As a single parent one faces more than a person can imagine? Try being a single dad? Each person’s life is a challenge, it is how we choose to deal with it is what matters. Labor Day for me is special because it allows me to be thankful for having a job to support my family. It allows me to provide for the needs in a blessed way. Take this Labor Day to appreciate the simple things in life. If you are struggling with finding a job, or financial issues, trust in faith. Believe all things are possible if you believe they are possible. Take this weekend to enjoy family, friends and life. Know you can succeed if you place your faith in yourself first and others. Take time to revisit the things you do and how you do them? Make adjustments to better yourself and remember it takes time. Never rush into things without thinking out the process.
