Not sure what to do

Several weeks ago, I was contacted via email for a second interview. The interview will be 2 1/2 hours and has a test. I agreed via email and verified that the email went through. I never received a confirmation email. I reached out today to see if we were still having the interview tomorrow. I haven't recieved a reply. What should I do? Should I get all dressed up, take time off work and show up for an interview that I'm not sure is going to happen? I don't really want to take the time off work to go over there just to be embarrassed when they say there is no interview. I used to work there so I know the guards and really don't want to look like a fool and waste my time.

Go to the interview now instead of going to it later. As far as looking good, look great but don't worry about the security guard or what the person might say.

If they called and said you were going to have this interview that's the same as email confirmation you know the time and place go for it

I had the same issue last week and I still went in. They had an area where you can take the test there. They interviewed me on the spot I received an offer. Good luck

Yes,show up. If they called you for a second interview and set up a time. You won't receive a confirmation email. You already confirmed in the email in which you say you agreed. The only email you will get is a Thank you, which is after the initial interview and a hire letter if so.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Since you're a previous employee, I would think that you could call someone there to confirm. The thought would be to resend your confirmation bearing in mind that your previous one has been overlooked, should you not receive a response at that point then, I would believe a call would be in order. Happy hunting.
