Too long assessments and personality quizes on online applications
I can't stand those quizzes, or online "what would you do" personality behavior tests. I think they are a waste of time, no one ever calls a person back when they do fill them out after 100 of the same question shot off in various ways. And it is weird to think that the places that do have them are the ones that only pay minimum wage or less than part time. ugh, when those pop up . I disregard the application. That tells me that company is going to compare you to what you put in answers. And will test you on the job if you are hired. Not worth the trouble.

I agree with you, Barbara. I don't feel like you can really pick up on my personality through a quiz anyway. Why not try talking to me to see what I'm like or what I'd do in certain situations?
I agree with both of you. Those tests are not reliable and are a big waste of time. I wish Security Officer jobs would cut back on the questions and paperwork, and spend more time getting to know applicants through interviews both individually and with group processes.
