What a waste of my time, gas, and bridge money...
Went to a job interview today in Cherry Hill, and it wasn't even an interview, it was a "Meet and Greet"...basically a 5 minute conversation with some one who didn't even know what position I was interviewing for. He started to explain how I would be trained as a salesman/marketing professional. I stopped him, and explained I was there for an IT job..he was like, "Oh...yeah...our IT guy is leaving in a month. Seeya for round two of the interviews....NEXT!" They might call me, but unless they say something uber amazing to suck me back in, there will be no second interview.....
That's very strange. Maybe they got some stuff mixed up. If you get a second interview, it'll definitely be good to go to. If the current IT guy is leaving, it could be a good opportunity.
sounds like a multi-level marketing scheme. there's a lot of those bait and switch fake job postings online.
