How do I attract future employers to review212 the entire resume vs. the prior employment only
. As an RN field case manager for more than 25 yrs., I have been eagerly seeking new opportunities in the healthcare/insurance arena, but outside of nursing. My desire is to secure a new job direction using my knowledge, experience and professional networking. Yet every day multiple job postings are received for the same job title..nursing. .A new chance to expand my professional profile is my goal, yet its been halted as it seems there is not much time spent reading the nitial 3 sentences of my resume. Suggestions would be so appreciated as I have exhausted most other means.

Hi Traci, You most likely receive that type of reach out because of your great experience in the particular field. People who are trying to fill certain positions are probably hoping that you would consider it because of your past work. Even if you are very clear with an "objective" at the top of your resume, you will still receive reach out and updates on other roles because of your experience. I would make sure you are being very proactive and applying to other positions and reaching out yourself since you know what you want and others may not understand that. Hope this helps!
Hi Traci: I was a self employed Certified Rehabilitation Consultant for over fifteen years. The insurance companies used my expertise for vocational rehabilitation services. The workers' compensation laws changed in the state I live in. The insurance companies switched to Licensed Vocational Nurses. Is there some type of short term vocational training you can get to add to your resume? Just a thought.
