How do I get noticed?

I am a retired Registered Nurse of over 30 years, and am just looking for a part-time job of some kind. I have been applying for over a month, but not one seems interested in hiring someone older. My age has nothing to do with my mind and my abilities to learn a new career. It seems like after we retire no one wants us.

Hi Donna, Esther is correct, non-profits are always looking for RN, LPN and HST's. Look for mental health or substance abuse facilities around your area

Hi Donna: I would suggest to look into teaching whether it's at a nonprofit organization, American Red Cross, or vocational training school. With all those years of experience you help someone else who is just beginning.
