Job Search not going so well

Graduated in Dec. 2015 with a B.S in mathematics with a minor in statistics. Still can't find a job. I really want to go into data analytics. I practice interviewing, keep up on statistical/computer programs; begin teaching myself programs such as python and SQL; currently studying for SAS Base Program Exam. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I had my resume and cover letter looked at by career services at my school. Any advice? Getting really frustrated here. I tried grad school, but I really don't want to go back to school, I really want to work.

Quality Assurance and Reporting Analyst

If i were you i would look into different positions, don't limit your scope to just data analyst. I also just graduated with a B.S in Mathematics (actuarial science) but i also had 4 years of finance experience, thus my options weren't limited to just actuarial field and fortunately i was able to land a job with New York Life. If i were you i would look for a entry level data analyst position or entry level financial analyst. You can also look into software development position since they look for individuals with python, SQL, and other programs. Once you can get this type of experience its easier to get a high quality Job within your industry.
