Interview Advice
I've seen a few posts recently asking for advice about how to do better in interviews. A few things you can do are
- check with local unemployment offices or career counseling centers (some are free) about interviewing classes or practice sessions
- read some of the most common questions and prepare answers (some links below)
- prepare your own questions (Interviews should be two-way conversations. And you can show your interest in the company and preparation by the questions you ask.)
- dress appropriately, take copies of your resume (and portfolio, if appropriate), consider how you present yourself (smile, eye contact, confidence, etc.)
Here are some articles that may help. (I hope others will post suggestions too.)
