Would Love To Work With Animals

I'm 19 and currently doing a job I am not a fan of, and well, quite frankly I hate it. I'd absolutely love to get a year around job at a farm, I hav lots of experience with cattle, and birds. I also have experience with hogs, goats, and horses. I took a year of horticulture in school, and would also enjoy working at a nursery or vegetable farm. I also have experience with exotic animals, parrots, reptiles, and fish. Looking for something in Washington in the Tenino, Rochester, or Tumwater area.

Jared, how far are you willing to drive everyday. Next do you have a resume showcasing your animal skills. Lastly, drive door to door introducing yourself to farmers. Possibly do some volunteer work. Maybe between a few of the farmers you can secure enough work to satisfy your needs. Best of Luck.

Have you tried volunteering or interning yourself into a FT permanent position in forming or animal care? I had a similar interest recently and found these websites helpful to find local interning farming opportunities. Check it out, https://attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/internships/search_results.php?State=ME
