Sorry to hear that (live in kansas also.) I personally don't know any lawers but i do have to warn you kansas is a shall work state so they can fire you for anything they want. So document as much as possible, and find a lawer. Its not a normal practice but it happends. My advice keep up the hard work, don't let them get to you, and keep emotions out of it. I had a situation like that a few years back and left after 18 months, they called me 6 months later and offered me my job back with a rase and promotion. ;)
