My company is on the verge of bankruptcy. Between back pay, bonus due and expenses, I'm owed about $12,000. I keep getting promises to get payed but promises don't pay the bills. I am interviewing with other companies to escape before the ceiling crashes. What are my options? Are there legal steps I can take to position my claim above other creditors?
