What are 3 actions I can take to clean up my online identity?
I’m not sure what employers do to look into my online activity so I want to make sure I have all my bases covered and avoid embarrassment.
You can request Google to remove certain personal information such as social security number or banking information if it comes up in a search. Getting things you've done, photos etc. which have made it onto the web removed will have to be removed by whatever website put them on there. The best thing you can do is watch what you do so if it makes it onto the web you won't be ashamed. Even then it's often the opinion of the person viewing your information who decides if what they see is objectionable no matter what it is.
Start cleaning up pics and language.. Then make sure =you don't have any off color political opinions.
Google yourself and see what comes up.
Simple solution...stay off of social media, period
