do you incude temp job(s) on your resume?
I'm only doing 4 out of the 6 months that i was contracted for, I got a full time job that is starting a lot earlier than i planned. Is it good practice to include temp jobs on a resume even if it was only a few months?

Hi Kristopher - Recruiter and longtime HR person here - I would say that it depends on the job you're applying for. You must always use the resume as a marketing tool; that is - tailor it to the job you want. If the temp jobs do not line up with whatever you're applying for, leave them off and promote other job experiences. A lot of it depends on age as well, you know if you're under 20 and you haven't had that much experience, by all means leave in those temp jobs. If you're a 30 something professional, leave the temp jobs off and tailor that resume using more relevant experiences. I used to have a bunch of links to good sites on tailoring. One of these days I'm going to bust in here and write the best article you guys have ever seen on everything concerning how to get a job. Stay tuned.
