Disability Question on an Application

I have been applying for an HR Generalist/Manager position for a year now here in Dallas. I've been told either over qualified or under qualified as I've got 12+ years as an HR Manager. So I started dumbing down my resume to fit closer to a position. But still no bite. I have/had several of the ailments on the list of them when responding to the Disability Question on an application. You can't tell by looking at me I've ever had or have any of them. So I do not like an answer "YES" to the question. And no I do not need any accommodations!!!

So only speculating, what are your thoughts on continuing to say YES to the question or should I select PREFER NOT TOO ANSWER.

I wouldn't self identify any medical issues. The employer gets tax credits for hiring individuals with "disabilities", but at what cost to applicants?
