Job fair tip #4
Within 24-48 hours of the job fair, send a [follow up thank you] (https://www.jobcase.com/conversations/3a2695c7-ced7-5bea-af4e-8789f758e97b) to each person you met with, even if you’re not interested. Networking is important, and that person you met may help you some way in the near future. If you think the employer would better appreciate a handwritten note, send one, but also send emails to everyone as well. Avoid copying and pasting the same generic email in your thank you! Just as you would write a custom cover letter, do the same with your thank you note. Be specific to the company as possible and mention somethings you spoke about that really stood out to you and to the employer. This will personalize the thank you.
