CivilService Testing for jobs

Is the civil service exam still needed for a US post office job? What about for seasonal job openings?

I don't think you need to take the exam for seasonal positions.

I know that you have to pay $25.00 for the application and then you take a test. I was not going to pay them to take a test. I do not think you need civil service for the post office it is separate. Good Luck.
