Relocating
Need a little advice on job hunting when it comes to relocating from one state to the other. I will be relocating to San Antonio June 2017 from Greenville SC. So I have been applying for positions but have not gotten any hits.. what am I doing wrong. Does any one have any advice for me

It depends on what you're looking for and where you are relocating. Is the relocation a good market for you're type of work? Did you look up jobs in the area that would be considerable for work? Is it worth it to move to where you are planning to move or should you pick another location??
Those are some questions to get you to think about the pros and cons of your situation..
If you need more help I can see if I can network you with people who are in your field.. hope this wasn't too long of a messsage..good luck

Go to Indeed.com i found my new job there.
Relocation to another state for reasons other than employment is tricky because you have to compete in a market where there may very well be well-qualified local candidates who will get preference over someone with a non-local address.
Most employers are looking to fill vacancies as fast as possible and will not be willing to hold a spot for someone who will be moving in a few months.
Your luck may get better the closer to your actual move date. But here are a few things you can do to help land a job interview:
If you know your new address in TX already, set that as your address on you resume. This will result in your resume passing the minimal location requirement in applicant tracking systems used by employers. The downside is, if they call for an interview you should be prepared to visit your new home to tend to interviews, or let them know at that time that you do not yet reside in the state which could remove you from consideration. If you don't yet know your new address, be sure you are submitting a cover-letter with your resume explaining your pending relocation.
Be prepared to perhaps initially take a filler job upon your relocation until you can get settled and put in the effort to secure your dream job in your new home state. I moved to Dallas, TX from Little Rock and took a menial job until I was able to dedicate more time to the job search locally.
Reach out to recruiters/staffing agencies in the area. They typically have a list of clients for whom they staff and may be better at negotiating a later start date than you can on your own.
Good luck in your job search! You will find something, it's just going to take more work to make it happen until you actually get here.
