Permission to Work?
I saw a help wanted announcement for a summer job on my way back home from school today. The ad says that I will need to present a work permit with my application if I’m under 18 yrs old. I’m 16 yrs old now and interested in the job but I don’t know who to ask for a work permit. Is that a something my parents need to prepare or do I need to ask for a work permit at school?

Hello Andre, Here is a little bit of information about teen work permits: http://www.internjobs.com/jobseeker/resources/articles/TheInsideScoop/TeenWorkPermits.html It looks like in most states you need to have a job to acquire a work permit. I hope this is helpful!
