So upset
I've recently completed college for Medical Assistant and I had several interviews. They all said I can't tell your fit for the job but you don't have much experience. This is crazy of course I finished my externship and had hands on but what do they expect I have to start somewhere.

My fellow jobcaser, you have completed your degree in college and im sorry to say, that precisely you are really need more experience fitted to your course. An employers searching a quality workers. An interview is the very important moment of time to qualify your quality being an applicant to a kin position, applying for. More experience thru voluntarily work with the community in line to your skills makes you perfect someday. Be patient enough with all your endeavors.

Don't give up, keep looking u will find something, someone Will give u a chance. I recently got a job doing something that I haven't done in over 15 years, so keep positive and keep looking, go through an agency if u have 2. Good luck in your search.

Keep trying and if they say you don't have experience inform them nicely in a respectful way how are you supposed to gain any experience if no one is willing to hire you or you can say or hiring me at your facility. Remind them what your GPA is this will help you get in the door if you have a good GPA. Also look at your resume what can be changed on it that will help you get the job have you had any experience in office equipment. Just an FYI my degrees I didn't get a job in those fields but you have to keep trying. Also apply at any company hospitals, Dr. Office, dentist offices, and even try outside the box like home helpers etc. Expand yourself... I have faith in you!!!

Hi Fellow Jobcaster,
I am sorry unfortunately sometimes the road starts by externships and getting into a company that requires experience. I will suggest to start at job agencies first. You may have temporary assignments but in the long run will count for your experience. This could be a second choice if you cannot find another job during time. Always have your clean resumes with error free. In case you get interviews. Best of Best of Luck!

I know how you feel! I went through school for medical billing and coding. Got my Certification on first try. Now I have had a hard time getting a job because everyone wants experience. How the heck are you supposed to get experience if no one gives you a chance!!

Eventually, you’ll get employment. You just have to sell yourself like you’ve never sold yourself b/4. You can do it! Research how to sell yourself in a interview & get the job. Good luck & best wishes!!!

Hold on don't give up be encouraged. I was told the same thing without even being interviewed, the lady saw me in my car and did not like the way I looked. Told me I would not be a good fit. There is a job for you keep looking.

'Fit' is a vague word which often the person using it can't even define. It is often more about perceived personality than competence, which doesn't give one much to go on. While at some point it might be helpful to figure out how you're coming across in an interview-which is a very contrived social interaction-for now what you want is an employer who will 'take a chance' on you. In my experience the best way to handle an 'indirect' objection like this is to bring it out into the open in a non-threatening way. Try something like this, and a good time during the interview to try this is when they ask you if you have any questions, although this can be done at another point in the interview. I did very well in school and we both know I have the technical competence for this position. What you don't know is how I will interact on the job with other staff. You don't know if I will handle the interpersonal aspects of relationships with other staff and customers in a healthy and productive way, one that encourages other staff-and customers-to continue the relationship. That's fair. I admit that I don't know your staff nor your customers, and having said that here's what I can tell you about how I'm approaching this position. I chose this line of work because (say something that reflects a personal desire to help, support, organize, etc.) and, having interacted as a consumer of medical services I can understand how scary and frustrating a visit with a provider can be. I know that, in addition to whatever my official tasks are, part of the job is helping the consumer to feel less stressed about their experience with this provider. Part of my job as a member of a team is to show other team members that they can count on me to do what I say and that I value and want to learn from their experience as well. I think when you see this attitude in action you will realize you hired the right person for this job, even if I don't have much experience yet.

just be patient... there wiil be more jobs fitted to your skill and know how... keep going. dont lost hope. God Bless
You should tell them when they came into life it just from a too small single cell and when they first came out of their mothers womb, they were too small and too weak to stand up, nothing to say doing the contribution to their family or having working experience . If their parents throw them away because of knowing nothing about the world, they cannot face you today to tell you you are inexperience and they have no chance to be experience. Request them give you a chance as he they are growing into the adult today. Somehow you might st be the right one for the position, at least you have the the ability to be that one. To me some ability is nborn, untrained, which just because you have not found out. When we come into many lives, some ability is there already, some undiscovered. You must know yourself first and then you will know if you are the right one or not. Believe in yourself and try it again and again until you got it! Good luck!
