Assistant Manager

I was assistant manager of ops at Ross. I conducted the interviews. Open availability is one thing that I looked for especially being available Tuesdays(senior day) and Friday thru Sunday. Most people want Mon-Fri opening only so if you are willing to have absolute availability let them know. Also during non peak seasons you'll be lucky to get 5-10 hours a week so cross training will get you more hours.

When walking to the back office for your interview impress the hiring manager by greeting customers on the floor, Ross is VERY big on that.

Before your interview at Ross, make sure you research the company, understand the role you are applying for, and prepare examples of your relevant skills and experience. In terms of pay, you can use websites like Glassdoor, Indeed, or Jobcase to research salary information for similar positions at Ross to help you gauge the potential pay range. Good luck with your interview!
