Being a good manager
I’m an assistant manager at Papa John’s and I always try to put my employees first. You hear big companies like google give lots of perks to their employees cuz it makes them work more so I always try to keep my drivers and cooks happy. Sometimes that means I’m busting out pizzas with them or taking out some deliveries or changing the work schedule at the last minute but it’s worth it bcuz most of my employees have been here for over a year so I don’t get a lot of folks leaving. It’s also about letting them know when they’re doing a great job and I really enjoy it

I truly hope the upper management i.e. Executes appreciate and reward you well for what you bring to their table. Good management, especially in a fast-paced environment such as Papa Johns, is an absolute must and a plus Makes a difference between a shop's success or failure.

That's great I had a buddy who worked there once and he didn't like his manager but his coworkers and customers were generally good so he stayed. My old job a FedEx I had a great supervisor and everyone got along because of him
So what does your GM or multi unit do if you are working all the shifts and. Filling the holes as well as doing the schedule. I hope at least they do weekly daily and shortly inventorys for you and product orders as well as print the prep projections and at least dispatch and work csr position
