any advice for moving out of state and getting a job?
To make a long story short, certain things in my life have brought me to need to move out of my home state of mississippi to indiana to be closer to my family. while i am currently employed as of now, and i have been searching for jobs online through sites like indeed and such, the problem is the jobs i have found require me to come in person for an interview (which of course means i would have to take a few days off my current job to do so.) on the possibility that they MAY or MAY NOT have anything avalible for me in the area i am choosing to live. The move it's self would not be as bad on me, had I a job to go to when I move. a two weeks notice at my current job and done, i could start working at the end of the 2 weeks. I'm wondering if there is an easy way to do this than what i am doing now which is of course, stay where i am and save up my money and plan a trip there for interviews and make a leap of faith and hope i have a job when i move.

Depending on the town in Indiana, the community can be small where everyone knows each other. If that is the case, I would ask one of your family members to put in a word for you with someone they know to get you started.
I would advise anyone working for autozone to just always be looking. I moved for the company to set up, hire and train my own staff, and got the store from nothing to profiting. I found myself wrapped up in an HR investigation that had nothing to do with me, but got fired for it anyways after everything I had done for the company. I found another store management position on Indeed and I am much less stressed. The only reason i was let go was because my district manager had other plans for his new district. This left the customers and employees I had very unhappy...
