Heavy equipment operator

Do i have a case

Well a few years back my company was on a prevailing wage job in which I was operating heavy equipment, (Backhoe, loader )about 75% of the time .well the other operators where getting $72 an hour I was only getting $34. When I brought this up to the owner of my company he tells me that it's his time to make money and to just deal with it .this went on for a year and a half .and come to find out I was not the only one .they have done this to .what I would like to know what the statute of limitation is or if I can do anything about it at all. Thank you

There is a site called "justanswered.com" where you can have a lawyer to answer your question for free.

Hi Robert. Do you have a contract? Do you have an HR rep you can speak to or a union? I would say the best course of action is to find out your rights, but if you are paid a certain amount and someone else is paid a higher amount it is most likely at the employer's discretion to determine salary. If you feel you are being discriminated against you could always seek out some legal counsel as well. Wishing you the best of luck Robert!
