Too much frustrated as I was not able to find a job

Dear all, I found this portal very interesting and helpful so I thought to express my problem here. I am educationally very sound and have my MSc in Pharmacology and PhD in nanomedicine or nano-oncology with very good grade (3.61). Furthermore, I also have some postdoc and pharmaceutical sales experience. Now, it has been nearly three months I have been trying to find a job in Pharma and have worked with recruiters too however, I am not able to find anything. In some jobs they say I am overqualified and in some jobs they show some stupid problems. Is there anyone to help me please, should I downgrade myself in my resume in order to get a job???

Wow with all your education that should not be an issue at all you should be welcomed however, today's job market is all about how much you are asking for with your education most will think that you are "Over Qualified" it is about the salary they would feel obligated to offer you my theory is don't take a downgrade stand firm someone will want you and pay for the knowledge you can bring them but I also find since I just graduated with a Bachelor's degree that I am not being taken seriously not to mention that my degree does not match my experience so a double edge sword. I get offers for the same job that I just lost in retail and not at management level no we are talking about minimum wage earning level are you freaking kidding. But my fault I guess for wanting to go in a different direction in order so I don't have to work five jobs to keep my head above water and not to mention my age comes up against me. So never give up and never downgrade you worked hard and should be proud.

This is why I keep saying that we should support Trump's H1B policy to pay higher wage for H1B worker, so that companies are encouraged to hire more local citizens. Agree ?

If you downgrade to Base MD will this solve your problem. Cleveland State let's you discipline swap to build in practicum. Don't know your age but elderly population need pain management and stability care. Not nano, that's future tech. Good Luck. edu worth u.

I know the Pharmaceutical industry well. My ex-wife was a rep. They want young reps! Period! I do not know your age but if you are over 35 and that is pushing it, you will not be hired. I understand that age is discrimination but it happens all the time. The only way I can see that age would not be an issue is either have a very "professional" employer who follows the rules. Or, you give a resume without dates, and you give a blind interview! Age, sex, race and whatever it maybe could be used if one is hired or not. Not that anyone will admit it! DO YOU NOTICE THEY NOW ASK WHEN YOU GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL! That should be illegal as well, it is just a way to get around asking for your age...If I was in your shoes, with your background and intelligence...START YOUR ON COMPANY!

The fact that you are unemployed with your education and experience, shows you are embellishing your background.... There are so many companies in all feilds where you qualify ..there is no reason but either your lying or you aren't even looking...especially a recruiter not being able to find something for someone with your education shows you are lying
