My parents both laughed at me...
My parents laughed at me when I said I was going to work for Delta. They told me that being a flight attendant wasn’t a "real job." So while they sit at their office desks every day with their real jobs, I get views like this at my "fake" one.

God bless n flow yr dreams

Its a real job. Real people! I personally hate to fly. But in like 5 seconds or less you float in the clouds. You have a beautiful job. Good luck with it. Are they hiring air marshalls?

That's funny

Nothing fake about being a flight attendant...they work their butts off to make sure everyone's flying experience is the best it can be.

Hi, although it's not as glamorous as it seems, it most certainly is a WONDERFUL! career. Speaking as a former F.A. its perfect for an individual that has little responsibilities. I did it with a family of 3, and I had the greatest experiences of a lifetime! My best friend just retired from Metro Trans., she did not want to stand still so she applied and landed a position with Southwest. I plan to return back to that field, I am not happy with common 9-5 "Clock punching". You Do You! Enjoy your job, Enjoy your life!

Beautiful!

Great job on meeting your goal. In regards to your parent's comments they probably said that because the information they knew about being a flight attendant is out dated. You see back in the late 80's and early 90's I also wanted to become a flight attendant. The only reason I didn't pursue it was because after doing extensive research, the salary for that career was only one dollar above minimum wage. And, if you were lucky you would end up working almost as many hours as a full time employee. Not to mention the horrid on call shifts that started at 4:00 am. Good luck with your future endeavors.

Flight attendant is a dream job for many. Congratulations.
PS Don’t bump into the guy sleeping in the aisle seat. It might be me.

Thank God you have a job. Are you happy doing your job? Are you able to pay your bills? If your answer is yes to both questions, then you know what to do. It's okay to listen and or take advise from others, but at the end of the day, you are the one who has to validate and make the decision to actualise your dreams
Happy for you 😃 I grew up wanting to be a flight attendant, just never Pursued it.
