Hey Tajani, Look I know life is not fair, but it's how you handle it. I'm glad to hear that you are praying don't ever stop doing that. He know your heart desires. Just keep the faith!!! Now about work. These are just suggestions... If your not working have thought about going to school to learn sign language??? You can make really good money by know how to sign. What about looking into education, with special needs children(like special education assistant). What about children at a hospital dealing with special needs children. I read that you are into sports. Have you thought about working for YMCA or summer camp???? Anything deal with helping children that have disabilities. It's chance that you would have better opportunities in that field. I hope these ideas help. Stay Encouraged!!! Oh there maybe free program for sign language look into !!!! Hey send me a message let me know how it goes.

Hi Tammy, that really is great advice. My sister has been a high school teacher for developmentally disabled students and is very good at what she does. She understands my disability and has suggested that I become a teacher assistant for classrooms like hers. The T.A.s work part time, have the summer off as do the rest of the school staff, and I could take a few classes online or at the community college towards finishing my degree.
It sounded great at the time, but my mother became ill and wanted to hospice at home so I stayed home with her instead. Your reply to Tajani sparked my memory of what my sister suggested, thank you for that. Stay encouraged, don't give up are two things that we need to take to heart. It's too easy to fall into the "pit", stay stagnant, and believe we aren't cut out for better things. Peace.
