I work in a dealership where majority of your income is based on commission. Well I've been having issues with one person I work with taking sales I've made out of my name. He doesn't believe in women working in that position (just how he was raised) I finally put my foot down about it and the next day was offered a job elsewhere that I gladly accepted because I was so frustrated nothing was being done about my issue. When I put in my two weeks I was told I was being fired because I accused the managers favorite employee of lying and stealing and I was cussing him out in front of customers (none of it true). Well another employee reported the same person for the same issues and they were fired as well. I felt bad for the guy because he had a wife and 2 kids and was without any income so I helped him get a new job. We are both now in locations where we are happy and management actually takes care of the problems instead of firing those who bring them up. RIDICULOUS!

Dedicated, dependable, and customer focused remote work services

Kat, Boy do I understand what you were going through. The person I work for ( trying to leave). Dropped me from 60hrs a week down to 4! It was home health. I have my A.S General Degree and have wanted to finish up. The owner is nice, but she won't solve any of the problems she has. The problem is actually a BIG problem for her company. This person is s liability to getting her business sued. I had to take a lot of crap off this person and if I wanted to, I could rip her and the company in court, and I'm talking hundreds of thousands of dollars. I would put the company under. I'm so desperate for a job it's insane. I am so happy you got out of that place. You and your friend. Thanks for sharing.

OPC/ Sales

I was the only woman at my satellite location years back. It was an uphill battle but worth the climb. Good for you all!

Sad to hear it could not work out at your previous job, but I am glad both you and your coworker found a job. Best wishes to you!
