Trained and then let go
I was working for a dental lab company as a courier and asked them if I could have extra hours if they had any. Well one of the owners asked me if I would consider being trained in the lab itself as a dental tech and learn to work on the dentures. So I agreed and ended up liking it. So I was offered fulltime. After about 4 months a former employee called to see if there were any openings and they let me go an hired him.

Maybe this was a test.... Now that u learned how much u liked it maybe its time to check out being a dentist, dental hygienest, or dental assistant? Maybe there r some online classes?

Did you ask for if you could have your courier job back. Did you get a 90 day performance review to get feedback on work. I hear about these situations happening to people all the time but I honestly must say that I have my reservations. Why would an employer fire a good employee out of the blue for absolutely no reason. You must have seen this coming.
You have the knowledge as a dental tech now. Go out and make it happen. I'm sure there's a better company out there for you.
