I want to do something
OK I'm disable and am currently receiving my social security disability check and have been for ten yrs or so. But the thing is ssi said the first 85 dollars is free anything afterwards would effect my disability check. So my question is how can i make extra cash? And have the time I'm not feeling great. And I can't make it on the check from them. Thanks

If your disabled and u get a check from the state it means you can't work so instead of trying to work the system how and do both how about just geting a job and leave it for people who actually need it . REALLY

Thanks for Sharing such an Excellent Question with the community today Audra! The Social Security Administration issues standard guidelines on salary limitations for disabled workers that are typically updated on a yearly basis. The amounts vary depending on your disability and ability to work. There's also employment trail, extended trial, and Ticket to Work Programs you could qualify for in order to help you make a successful transition into employment.
Please keep in mind that each case is different and may require individual attention. Reach out to your local Social Security Administration office in Moore,OK at 1-866-964-4260 and ask about the Ticket to Work Program and other wage earning incentives you qualify for.

Hi Audrey. I too am disabled and collecting SSDI. There is a program through SS called Ticket To Work. This program works with certain companies who hired disabled folks like us to basically work from home. These are legit companies. Now you need to make sure that you don't make more than $1130.00 a month or else you WILL lose your benefits. Do some research on SS website and see what your rights are in regards to working while disabled.
