as of 12/31/2017 I had worked for work for Subway for almost 1 year. I helped with manager paperwork, I did product orders, and was always there when no one else wanted to come in. sometimes working a 16 hour day. the Subway that i worked for was attached to a gas station/mini mart which i also worked the register while doing my subway duties. In the time that I was employed there i have seen many people come and go, most stayed for one or two days. this is because at this store there is only one person working at a time when othere Subways have 2 or more. I stuck with it because i love the interactions that i had with my customers. The day that i was told that a fellow employee, whom doesn"t do her job to begin with and only works 4 hours a day, 3 days a week, is now getting my hours and my shift, I was done. The only reason that this happened is because the peoson getting my shift and hours is the cousin of my manager. My daughter also works at the same Sabway as i did, but from the day she was hired I made it clear that she was her own person and not my daughter when she was there. Soooooo unprofessional. these people have always known the hours that I can work. I have one car and 3 people to get to work. It was never a problem until my manager wanted to baby her cousin. So very sorry about the rant.
