I’m outta here!!!!!
accepted another job offer and I need to resign today. I wanna “blast” this place badly!! Should I keep it real and be honest? Let me know soon.. almost quittin time- Thanks.

As an employer, i can tell you that professionalism is key! Carry yourself in such a manner that those in which you intend on blasting would become envious of the complete utter silence you give to them by not even responding. If you feed into their blasphemy then that could potentially tarnish your chance of having a longterm career and not to mention future employment! I trust you would make the right decisions! Good luck!

It may sometimes be tempting to slam a door behind you. However, I have found that keeping that door open can be very beneficial. I just left my job of 5 years to move from Pennsylvania. It feels good to leave on good terms, after working a 3 week notice, and be offered references. I was also told that if I ever come back to PA, there are opportunities for me there. My advice is always, always try to maintain that rapport.

I would be diplomatic about it - remember, this place could provide you a reference for future employers. If you blast them or leave in a bad manner, it could end up hurting your future job prospects. Save your anger for an anonymous company review!

I think it is definitely best to be honest.
Sylvia always remember to leave a job in a respectful manner, as the saying goes "don't dam the bridge you've crossed.". Reason, your new boss can still check up on you although they said "you're hired,". Secondly, if you leave and found out later that the job is not a FIT, you can always call your old boss and see if your old position is available or are there openings. I've done it and trust me, it works. Always leave on a good note no matter the situation. Remember, you are job searching, not your boss. Good luck.
