Contractor review and pay raise

I really want to ask my employer to review my contract and ask for a pay raise. I work for a construction company and was only supposed to be done repairs throughout the unit. Do to our customers service manager leaving for personal reasons I became customers service representative and repair manual. The dilemma is how do I ask for a raise with out making them think I don't appreciate the upgrade position.

Did you take on the CSM responsibilities or was the title/position offered to you? An official job offer is where you have an opportunity to negotiate salary. If that hasn't happened then I think you should ask about the job opening and toss your name into the hat. Your negotiating strategy is that you're already executing the key responsibilities of CSM job on top of your current responsibilities. If you officially accepted the job without discussing a pay increase then you may have missed the opportunity to do so. In that case, wait for your 90 days review.
